Strategic Alliances

Our plan calls for connecting thousands of Canadians with the training and skills development they need to become a future-ready transportation workforce. Our partnerships efforts will focus on forging alliances with training institutions, employers and staffing agencies, and immigrant settlement agency groups.

Institutions that offer truck driving training
  • Support skills development via training programs to create a future-ready transportation workforce
  • Partner with training schools, educational institutions, and staffing agencies
  • Install simulator based trainings at scale that are purpose-fit for their unique truck driver training programs
Employers and staffing agencies
  • Provide employers access to trained talent and potential new recruits
  • Apprenticeship program: paid on-the-job learning that ensures high-quality training for new drivers and helping employers develop and retain a skilled and safe workforce
  • Contribute towards easing financial burden for employers to participate in such a program
Settlement Agencies
  • Work with settlement agencies that provide wrap around services
  • Focus on skills training and employment placement programs that these agencies offer for women, youth, immigrants, and other minority groups

In summary, operating with the shared objective of enabling full and equal participation of women from diverse backgrounds in trucking industry will be a true measure of our success in these partnerships
